Monday, Monday....

What a lovely day we have had so far!  I have three loads on laundry hanging on the line outside and another one waiting in the wings.  I discovered when I went out this morning that I only have one line left!!  All other have broken over time.  A good thing that I have extra line hanging about in a laundry room cupboard.  The disaster restorers were working in the basement this morning and got all the paneling pulled off and all the drop ceiling taken down.  They found two dead mice in the ceiling as they worked.  UGHHH!   but then, that is what you get when you live out in the country.  We think that we know where they are getting in at so....  I am cooling snow peas which I have blanched and then will pop them into the freezer.  I think this afternoon I will work on squaring up a few quilt patches that have been waiting to go to charity.  I MIGHT work on some of my own quilting....perhaps start that quilt for my grandson or I might knit.  A good day with beautiful weather.  How blessed is that?!

well, it is a Monday and I don't really have anything great or awe inspiring to report.  Had a lovely Sunday dinner with all the Callenbergs!  Baby Michael is the cutest thing on the face of the planet (said his adoring grandmother).  If I ever get a handle on how to post pictures, I might get some up here (with his mother's permission).  Not much to say except how hot it has been and how glad I am that we have air conditioning.  One afternoon last week the temp. read past 105 degrees!!!!  Hope all of my 5 followers (lol)  are having a great day!  Maybe I will get into blogging.......maybe.
